    My clock not keeping time

Okay, so the clock on my laptop is messed up and wont keep time. I think its just the battery. But anyway, so I downloaded the newest version of hex workshop. I never pay any attention to the stupid clock but some times it causes security issues with certain web sites. So, I reset my clock, just to visit a page, knowing it is broke. Well, hell I set date to a day before my trial version of hex runs out. So now every time I use hex for past month I get a message warning me that I only have 4 days left before my trial version runs out. Pretty awesome. I wonder what other trial apps I can get with this broken clock.

Your cmos batteries definitely dying if not dead, the security problem you mention is a kerberos problem which uses the system clock as part of timestamp authentication, if the clocks out the entire things botched.

A ridiculous amount of things depend on the system clock.
Replace the thing and sync with a time server.
