first you need renegade's save editor and mojobojo's resigner
mojobojo's resigner
renegade's seve editor
1. make a back up save
2. mod game00_?? with renegades save editor
3. save, fix checksum and rehash and resign
4. extract the savedata from game00_??
5. rehash savedata with mojobojo's resigner
6. inject savedata into one of your backup game00_??
7. rehash and resign game00_?? and load save
this is the only way i could mod the shotgun ammo i have used this way 5 times with 0 fails
the left digit is in the editor the right digit is in game there is no hidden digits it works in a odd way
shotgun ammo, 999 = 999
shotgun ammo, 9999 = 558
shotgun ammo, 999999 = 800
there not exact its just a example
it also works this way with the pistol ammo
in renegades mod tool TMP ammo at 99999999 = 5000+ first aid sprays in game
i have done some testing and this is fairly close like 90%
the demigod mode is lost if you use a herb in game and the ammo is lost if you upgrade gun capacity

yeah well it happens I guess >.> some people like doing it themselves. I prefer doing it myself as well but I don't make tuts. kind of pointless since hex editing is the easiest thing you can do. but it is better to use tools that do the modding for you. (yes I am lazy)
