Best open world action adventure.

Hey Guys what about the other bethesda releases? Fallout & RAGE lol I spent hours running around those worlds. Bethesda rocks, I think the developers actually encourages modding

When did GoW any version ever become open world. Or for that matter when did FF ever become action ti maybe 12 or maybe 11.

for me personally i loved Shadow of the Colossus. Although one could argue not truly open world but i loved it!

Personally, I did enjoy most of the games listed here, but recent changes leave me without much time to play games as much as I used to. My current (because this will change) top 5 open-world action adventure are:
Zelda (OoT is a good one, but MM is my fave.)
Dark Souls
TES V: Skyrim
Saints Row: The Third
And finally Minecraft (not really action, but definitely open-world adventure)
I have also heard many good things about FarCry 3, but have yet to play it!
...Dishonored was kinda nice too...
