cant get the max xp and everything on the 2nd page of the editor to work, it says that it has stopped working and then closes

cant get this to work on mine it give an error when i try to click connect and yes my anti virus is off and all, using window xp SP3, and i know that the xbox is connect to my PC bcoz i use peek and poke and it connect just fine... can some1 help me would be great thanks
