    Thank you for responding. My issue deals with Final Fantasy XIII, not Final Fantasy XIII-2. Eventually, I was able to get my save to load in the editor but I was only able to do this by copy/pasting the information listed in the "show file" portion of the Modio window that opens after selecting a save. If I just went to open in the editor and selected the file that I extracted, it showed an error. When the save loaded, I edited the file and saved it. I then replaced it in Modio. This process did not work. My save is currently at the first save point in Chapter 1. Is that too early? Or, as you alluded to, am I going through the wrong process by using Modio in that manner? I did extract from modio and rehash/resign so I understand that I did things incorrectly. How then do I get the save to load in the editor without extracting from modio. Is there any guidance you can provide on what to edit or not edit at this point in the game in order for it to work? Since this is a bit different than I'm accustomed to, how to do I get the edited save back on the flash drive if not using modio in the manner I thought necessary? Again, I thank you for any time you spend on this. This is my second playthrough and I'm trying to cut some fluff out. Also, I apologize for my ignorance, but I'm not exactly sure how to post my save. Any guidance on the mentioned issues would be greatly appreciated. I will keep checking this thread periodically.     Version 2.0: Updated the UI to make it easier to use and added extra options when editing lists.
    Accessory Power values now scale correctly when added on mass.
    Now uses my safe NumericUpDown control to prevent errors when opening saves edited with other editors.
    Fixed tab orders.

    Version 2.1: Corrected max level and scaling for several accessories.
    Added Duplicate option to accessory editor to allow easy duplication of modified accessories.
    Enabled multi-select for weapon and accessory lists.

    Does this work for ps3? and how can I get the .dat file you we're editting I could only find app.dat :(

    No it doesnt, you cant edit ps3 saves this way.

    app.dat is inside the save, you shouldnt be messing that deep, you need to open the actual save file directly.

    PS3 savefile editing has been possible for half a year now. Players have been slow to get on the bandwagon, but the global signing and encryption was finally broken in late 2012. Check out PS3 Save Resigner.

    So, if possible please update your FF13 Save Editor to work with PS3 savefiles. :) Actually, it may be possible already if you simply extract the Xbox 360 save out of the container, and likewise for the PS3. It may be the same file, I haven't checked.

    Do Xbox 360 FF13 and FF13-2 save files have custom encryptions, hashes, or checksums, aside from the global Xbox 360 signing? I haven't tried to hex edit FF13 or FF13-2 before.

    Also, please update your editor to include Lebreau and Gadot. :)

    PS3 Save Resigner may well work, but its a manual process that cannot be built into the editor, would be like people having to make people use horizon/modio to resign their 360 saves. Also, PS3 Save Resigner wont help me extract the actual save data.
    Until there are proper developer libraries for working with PS3 files, I can't see this happening.

    Yes they have known additional encryption on XBOX, but my understanding is they have different encryption on the PS3 which is why they cant be edited.

    What on earth for? They're playable for 10 minutes at the start of the game where Snow can do the facerolling once edited.

    Well I tested the PS3 Save Resginer on a PS3 FF13 save and even after decryption the save data is still encrypted with different encryption vs the XBOX saves.
