Optional media update on Jtag

After having my dash and firmware updated to the latest versions my media update had stopped working, the file is still showing on the HDD but its currently doing bugger all.

Is there perhaps a Jtag friendly version on the net that someone could point me to? Everywhere I've looked so far says that it can only be downloaded via live and no-where else.

Failing that do you reckon it would last long enough on live for me to download the update again and whats the worse that happens if they ban the machine? I dont use live anyways so not bothered bout that but heard that they can disable your HDD install functions.


EDIT - Nevermind, found a Jtag only version on the net. Here it is in case anyone else requires it, place the files in Partition 3/00000000/FFFE07DF/00000002.
