This is why I am trying to save you, and everyone else the time to do things on Fusions version. The pc version has a couple of things that the console can't do, such as massing a garden beyond the slot limit.

I am not trying to bash you in any kind of way, I understand that there is no perfect editor available for the console version. However, giving that everyone here, has to got to have a good computer for this game, it's far more enjoyable to do it on PC than it is on Xbox 360.

My only wish is that they finally make a game about Chao World, would be nice to have a more in-depth game all about chao and raising them.
I don't think it's about people not having powerful enough PCs to run the game; I think it's about people wanting to play it on a console with a controller, like it was meant to be played. I mean, it's great if you feel better playing any given game on a PC, but I'm a console guy myself. Add to that, this is "360haven" and not "PChaven". Our focus is the 360. People come here to get 360 mods, not PC mods. There are already plenty of huge communities for PC mods, and anybody can go to any one of those places to get their PC fix.

I think you're barking up the wrong tree with rhetoric like "just trying to save you". I'm not offering to mod 360 users' saves because I feel that I'm somehow obligated to, I'm offering to do it so that players who would otherwise not be able to partake in the mods that PC gamers take for granted can get them now. It's ridiculous, the idea that the PC versions of games are somehow the only ones that are "allowed" to be modded. So again, you can take your naysay somewhere else, thank you.

Perhaps if you approached the issue a little differently (with different words), then nobody would be having their toes stepped on. But that "you are on the spot" bit sounds like you're confessing that I took your previous post in the intended way: that is, you blatantly come into my thread about modding 360 games and try to sell us all on how much better it is to mod PC games. On a 360 modding website, no less. So you'll have to forgive me if I'm still wrong about that, because I don't mean to start an issue where it isn't due.

I'm not referring to that, so it's best we do get off the toes before someone gets a broken bone on it. Btw, you can play use an Xbox 360 controller for the pc version, as it is the same port from the console version (which includes the ugly bugs to go with it). I guess its more on the lines that no one uses their pc as often as the console. Wish the fusion trainer was on console though.

I think you got my posts completely wrong...I best leave before I get a Kamehameha Wave in my boot.

No no, if I'm wrong then I apologize. It's not my intention to drive anybody away due to a misunderstanding, so I'm sorry.

At any rate, the aforementioned reason is why I'm doing this instead of using the PC version: Fusion's editor already works great for the PC version, but not everybody has it, so I'm modding saves so that they don't have to go out and buy another version.

Btw back on topic, how is the xbox 360 version aside from the Dreamcast/gamecube version. I use to hack it on Dreamcast, which was a pain in the ***, and gamecube was easier cause you knew what the stats are. I assume you use hex workshop?

I assume editing RAM is much easier than save editing, because you don't have to deal with a hash. I don't know which port they decided to introduce a hash with (probably the HD port), but it took forever to figure out a fix for it. Aside from that, it's all pretty much the same as the Gamecube version (minus the GCMM save encryption). The only difference is that SEGA replaced the shiny two-tone with what is now dubbed "bright" chao; they look cool, but not enough to make up for the lack of shiny two-toned. I have yet to combine shiny and jewel coating in this one.

Yeah, I use Hex Workshop. I love its function to translate floating points into decimal, which is really helping me to code the editor.

EDIT: I haven't touched Dreamcast modding in years, and I forgot how much of a pain it is. I just used a Gameshark to induced a debug screen while I was in the chao garden, and that was enough to figure out the stats. Of course, it didn't help the the debug screen is hard to read and sometimes crashes the game.
