Marijuana opinions?

Just wanted to know everyone's opinions on the matter, I love having a smoke and playing Xbox chills my right out. I also think it should be legal for medical use, If it helps people then why not, one of my idols Tommy Chong has used it to beat cancer recently but hes always been pro marijuana anyway.

Nothing wrong with weed. I smoke once in awhile. Smoked the other day while talking to jappi88 on skype and playing xbox. Thread might be breaking the rules though seeing as its drug talk. So be careful, one of the admins might remove it depending on their mood.

As long as it's mild content in regards to weed. I personally don't mind. However, nothing that can get us into legal trouble.

I used to smoke it when i was around 16 tried it for like two weeks it was pretty nice an relaxing and helped with my arthritis but i mainly had bad experiences with it i had what many people call a white death or whitey after i had a few i stopped smoking it i was having quite a few rolls to myself so i guess that would be why i had them lol

I don't smoke pot. That said, I definitely think it should be legal. Cigarettes are more harmful, and alcohol has stronger disorienting effects. It's only illegal in the first place (in the US anyway) because hemp is so cheap and easy to make and it makes fabrics to rival cotton, so the textile companies that deal with cotton and wool decided they didn't want the competition and they appealed to the lawmakers. Honestly, I can't see any harm in smoking pot (at least nothing worse than smoking tobacco or drinking alcohol), especially if it makes everybody more inclined to be peaceful; if worldwide pot smoking can help reach worldwide peace, you can bet I'll support its legalization.

EDIT: Not only that, but if it did become legal, there would be nothing stopping companies from producing marijuana cigarettes and selling them at convenience stores. If pot were to be sold commercially, the drug cartels would slowly die out (they'd lose all their costumers to the safer and cheaper alternative), the government could tax it (marijuana taxes would lift the economy out of the red zone faster than you could say "pass it"), and tourism to the US/UK would also increase (first world countries with crap tons of tourist destinations AND legalized pot to help enjoy it all). I think only good things can come from legalizing marijuana.
