City Interactive has confirmed that its upcoming, CryEngine 3-powered sequel to Sniper: Ghost Warrior will finally see the light of day at the developer's booth during E3 2011.
The game was one of two titles listed to be shown off in an E3 press invitation -- the other being the (possibly CryEngine 3-infused) flight combat sim, Combat Wings: Great Battles of WWII.
Few details about Sniper: Ghost Warrior 2 were revealed in the invitation -- only that the game will be released on Xbox 360, PS3 and PC, and will allow players to "once again step into the ghillie suit of a special ops sniper to take down the enemy." We're obviously psyched about this development, because there are few words on this planet more fun to say than ghillie. Ghillie. Ghillllieeeee.
