all i am going to say is they raped Indiana movie they just fucked it right in the ass and there saying games story sucks i agree batman arkham better than movie walking dead from telltale has made so many people cry the last of us has great story fallout 3 metro

Nice share, thanks. I feel that I get more from video game characters than movie characters.
"Dammit Princess... why are you always in another castle?!? For the love of God ...WHY?!?!"
Just kidding... anyway, Personally I feel in a relatively good game, sticking with the common of example of Mass Effect everyone else mentioned, it tells a better story than any other medium can, whether it be tv or movie. A book might be a bit better at detailed story telling, but a game like Mass Effect gives you the mannerism's, personality, visuals, and everything else about a character and an environment, much like the others.. but you both emphasize and sympathize with the characters because not only can you feel for them, it's your fault. You made the decisions leading up to Ashley murdering Urdnot.. You did.. Did you get to know Wrex? Was he a valued member of your team? Well, He's dead now.. and you did that. Does the Kenny's boy Duck live through the zombie attack at the tractor? Your move... good luck.
You don't have that ina movie, nothing of you is personally invested. You might have an emotional investment, but little no influence, or there would be a lot less dead characters if they heard us yelling at them to not go up the friggin stairs
Videogames will destroy the actual film industry because you can interact with the characters and you can empathize with them.
very well said, I agree with you 100%. Movies are a great way to relax, but for a truly immersive story, Games have the ability to expand on what you might see for 10 seconds in a movie. I love a good suspense movie, but when I am playing Silent Hill 2 in the dark, with headphones nothing can compare with that.
