ESRB lists The Witcher 2 for Xbox 360

A console release for CD Projekt RED’s The Witcher 2: Assassin of Kings may be closer yet. The Entertainment Software Rating Board has listed the game for an Xbox 360 release.

CD Projekt has said in the past that they wanted to make sure a console version of The Witcher 2 is “doable and that it’s bound to happen,” but wanted to keep quiet until they had “anything solid to show or to say.”

The team behind The Witcher 2 will reveal an all new game at E3 next month. As for The Witcher 2, an announcement at Microsoft’s E3 presser would be sure to cause a boom.

I haven't bought the game myself coz my PC is su*k. So i will happy to hear if CD Projekt confirm that The Withcer 2 will goes to Xbox360, but i think of this is just still a rumor since no confirmation yet from CD Projekt. How about you guys ??

I would be made up if that got ported to 360 - I loved The Witcher 1 on PC, but felt it could have been better on a console.

They could put it on 3 discs :p but I am tempted to grab it though 11 gigs dload is... a bit much. I will pick it up when it is cheaper, though I gotta finish the first, though heard it doesn't play well on windows 7

Its Official now, yay The Witcher 2 coming to Console

Developer CD Projekt RED today confirmed the release of the The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings for Xbox 360. The title is slated for release at the end of this year.

The announcement was made today during a live stream from the team. CD Projekt RED said the Xbox 360 port will not suffer from any gameplay compromises and that the graphics are "looking awesome."

First week sales for the PC version surpassed 400,000 worldwide, according to the developer.
