the menu loads up fine in the game but none of them actually work, i must be doing something wrong

im seeing TU1 in the title of the thread so do i need the game updated to Title Update 1?

will it work if i use xexmenu 1.1 and start it with default.xex, or do I need freestyle dash?

edit: nvm updated it and got it to work, although the only glitch ive come across so far is when i use the fire superpower it disables all the other powers
