Ya the way I modded my money as high as I did was changed the value to FF7F, went in-game and sold a potion. Modded new value to FFFF7F, sold potion, modded to FFFFFF7F, etc. that seems to be the max value before the game adds another byte to the save. However I already had 2,000,000,000 Gold before I hex edited my save, so that method might only work for higher values...?

If I make a new save and replace my profile.dat file into the new save then my Gold and Stash items get put onto the new save. So Gold and Stash items are in the profile.dat file.

I thought you said that the gold is saved in account.dat? i want to start with my own save and just use the gold from the modded save. Should i use the account.dat OR Profile.dat?

Is there an account.dat file out there with just a shit load of gold that anyone can use for a perfect starter save?
