How to get all new games working (remove the update nag!) on dash revs 9199 and above

I have seen lots of posts saying "xxxx jtag rip will not boot" and I always respond with "install dash launch" so I will explain how I get my games booting with very little effort.
I am running the first kinect dash on my jtag and I know this method works 100%

You will need:

A jtag (duh)
Freeboot dash on rev 9199 or above
Dashlaunch 2.21 http://www.megaupload.com/?d=WMBLWSC3


Put the ini file on the root of your usb drive (you dont need to set dash launch to auto boot anything use my settings below if you want) just paste this into the launch.ini file that comes in the dashlaunch zip.

the above settings if you keep button x pressed at boot then xex menu will boot straight away

Make sure the launch.ini is on the root of your drive before the next step



Place the dashlaunch installer folder on the root of your usb drive

launch the dashlaunch xex with your choice of xex loader
Let it install the patches for your mobo.

This will reboot your jtag

Launch the dashlaunch xex again
If you are using my settings when you run the installer again decline the option to edit the settings as I have already done that for you.

If you want to mess with the settings the main thing you need to look out for is the option to skip game updates!! the whole point of this tut!

Thats it enjoy playing the newest games without updating your dash or getting those nag screens!
