unable to verify plugin.dat help plsss

i am having the same issue as the user above, and also when i try to update the installer it just gets stuck in a loop of download complete then asks for a update when reloaded

hazard it seems whenever i download the new version, it says it cant verify the plugin.dat file that is needed to run the editor. i tried re downloading the editor but it doesnt seem to work. also did you figure out why the add over 100 cars to the main characters garages wasnt working correctly?
