Um, one problem, i think the entire thing is in your profile, ive gotten about an hour in and dont even have 1 save file under the game, just the installed game. Wonder if it has actual saves or is entirely profile dependant =/

In the Extra Menu there seems to be some kind of Campaign settings you can alter, but thus far, they are Unknown / Locked for me =/ wonder if there cheats of some kind?

Ya the save is stored in the GPD (Your GT)

The GPD is named "425307D7.gpd" you have to extract that from your gamertag and search for your in-game values (in HEX).

Ugh, so time to start hoarding the crystals so i have a decent hex to search for :p

or just get like 3 Crystals and make a save, then use 1 crystal (2 left) and make another save, then compare both of the saves together and see what spots match up.
