it's worth buying 3ds?

Have they ever worth it to buy 3ds?
I am needing to know that my son not to talk about it.
But Nintendo is fire! It has little to launch another product and we get like a child wanting to buy the new ... hooooo

It's said that a lot people have problems viewing 3D (be it headaches or the inability to see it at all), I however had no problem and had hands on time with one for over an hour with the 3D turned all the way up. That being said I watched a lot of 3D trailers from E3 (Luigi's Mansion 2, Animal Crossing, Ocarina of Time, Mario Kart, Starfox, Resident Evil, and a few others I can't remember). The graphics for the handheld are solid (shown off best by the new Resident Evil game, not the Mercaneries port), the 3D is an amazing addition, the controls are good, there's a lot of wifi user to user interaction apps (like the street pass).
I really want one. That being said, the software lineup is really weak; The 3DS is currently being held up by Ocarina of Time. I would say to wait until it's been out for at least a year, because there will be better games and probably even a price drop.
