Thief Modding? (Game Save inside)

Looks like the only thing worth modding in the game is the Gold, which is used to buy upgrades and equipment (arrows).

I have provided a save about 2 hours in, past the first chapter. It has 840 Gold.

I extracted the files from the save and it has 3 files: C.sav, R.sav, and I.sav. Must be encrypted because I can't find my gold value in hex in any of them (well I can but I'm certain it's not the gold value)

This game requires the latest Xbox dash in order to play.

Can you test this. I modded the Gold to 999,999,999 and the Health Potions to 9,999. Can you verify that they are modded? There are 2 saves, test the "Thief0.rar" file first and then try the "Thief0 2.rar" file if the "Thief0.rar" file doesn't work.

Well I spoke too soon, apparently there are Focus Points that can be modded to. These improve your abilities, like sneaking and faster pick-pocketing. You buy them from some granny in the slums.

3 game saves attached, with different Focus Point values. I had to spend money to get them, so money changes accordingly.

It's right at the start of each individual save isn't it? I'm getting the impression it's a custom crc32, or at least custom in some respect, part of me really wants to say adler32 given the actual value itself.
Being published by square enix leads me to believe it's going to have some stupid-crazy algorithm on it, but i'd love to be proven wrong.

By the way, the saves are compressed with zlib so that may be part of the problem, though checksums tend to come after compression.
