Dark Souls 2 Help

im playing dark souls 2 and ive just killed Velstadt who is kings defender and now i dunno what todo i now have the king to fight but he is impossible cos only doing 8 damage to him with fully upgraded weapons. where do u find the kings ring been looking al over the internet can not find anything if someone will please help me out i would be very happy thanks

If your using the modded starter save The ring doesnt seem to show up since you already have it. Venrick was just walking around in circles and the ring was supposed to be on his armor in the middle of the room.

yeah i was using the modded save so now then the game is messed up

Not sure cause i am still trying to kill him but you have the ring the question now is where too check youtube cause thats how I found the fact the ring was just on his armor and you didnt need to fight him.

Well i have not Made it that Far yet but if im not Mistaken itsent that ring in the Item box? Also sightly off Topic but where do you guys gte your Large Titanite Shards?

yeah i was using the modded save so now then the game is messed up

well the kings ring should've been right around in his room but i guess because of the modded save it wont show. as for beating him be cautious however stay close to him, ive noticed with alot of these bosses that if u stay close to them then they will miss alot of the time especially when he does his jumping attack. as for me once i maxed out my stats my weapon got stronger and i sacrificed my speedy weapons with heavy powerful weapons like the gyrm axe i randomly acquired by killing gyrm warriors

the king is so hard to kill only doing 14 damage a hit to him got him down 3/4 and he killed me that took 40 mins its just a stupid boss

i was using the rulers sword cause it was faster and with the added 395 from haveing a ton of souls it was 200 damge over my lvl 10 great sword i was getting 20 a hit. I was always able to miss his swings it was just when he brought his sword straight down I have a problem with I always get hit if I am close.
