More Game Boy Advance games announced for Virtual Console

It's like we're kids again, playing games under the covers when we should be asleep (Mum - we always went to bed on time, honest)
We announced yesterday that Advance Wars would be returning to our screens. Turns out, it's not the only GBA game we can look forward to playing again...
There was plenty of excitement yesterday for the announcement that Advance Wars would be the first in Nintendo's Virtual Console roster, and we settled ourselves in for the wait to see what the next game would be.

Turns out that we don't have to wait long at all, because Nintendo have just given us seven more titles to drool over until the 3rd April!

ID:	14395Also on the 3rd April, we've got Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga, the first game in the Mario & Luigi RPG series that gave us a a whole new way of kicking butt with the diminutive plumbers. It'll be a nostalgic experience that'll make you fall in love with the series all over again as you run through turn-based battles, sugary bright landscapes and give Bowser the damn good hiding he deserves.

ID:	14396The last release on the same day is Metroid Fusion, a game that features an infected-then-vaccinated super Samus, with more powers than Superman, Batman and Spiderman put together. Except for the 'having lots of money' power. The GBA original gives us classic Metroid action and style with a twist that makes this game one of the highest rated Metroid games to this day.

ID:	14397A week later, on the 10th of April, Kirby & The Amazing Mirror bounces onto our GamePad, channeling The Legend of Zelda: Four Swords as Kirby splits into four (oh god no) and roams the Mirror World looking for shards of mirror. Pretty standard adventuring stuff here, with plenty of exploring and secret-hunting that keeps the game as fresh as the first time we played. 3DS owners may remember the game from its 3DS Ambassador release in 2011, which, if you ask us, is enough time to feel nostalgic about it.

ID:	14398Again on the 10th is Wario Ware Inc: Minigame Mania, a game featuring more minigames than an arcade for ants. Wario Ware Inc takes us through the manic life of Wario as he turns all Del Boy on us and tries to swindle a load of people out of their hard-earned money. He does this by demanding that we do a load of random, meaningless yet wickedly fun tasks like picking a disembodied nose, or adding hot water to noodles through pipes in a bafflingly roundabout way

ID:	14399When we get to the 17th April, F-Zero: Maximum Velocity is going to Falcon Punch us in the face with a look back at the racing game's finest moments on handheld. It's got speed. It's got explosions. It's got a guy claiming to be Captain Falcon's son. It's not got a Jeremy Kyle episode just yet, but doubtful paternity issues are always ripe for the picking.

ID:	1440017th April also brings with it Golden Sun, a fantasy RPG with a huge amount of heart. It's got the random monster encounters and team battling that we've come to expect from JRPGs, with a character upgrade system involving collectable Djinn found while exploring. Its graphics are renowned for going above and beyond what the GBA was thought to be capable of, and it's still a classic to this day.

Finally, the 24th April brings with it Yoshi's Island: Super Mario Advance 3. In anticipation of Yoshi's New Island, we'll be playing this to get a feel for the chalky graphics, the Yoshi twist on platforming and the irritating cry of Baby Mario in his stupid little bubble.

So there's plenty to look forward to, and plenty to look back at. There's also new features like Restore Points that save progress during gameplay and Miiverse connectivity, allowing us to share our GBA experiences like never before. We're looking forward to playing Advance Wars because, obviously, it's the best - what game do you think is a 32-bit diamond in the rough?
