After months of teaming up with Mojang, we can confirm that Minecraft X360 Edition will save transfer to Xbox One Edition...more news soon!
6:48 PM - 24 Apr 2014
Microsoft and Mojang have been in discussion over save transfers since at least last June, so it looks like all that talking has finally paid off. Mind you, Spencer previously claimed that saves wouldn't transfer, since Minecraft on the Xbox One is "a brand new experience." Guess they found a way to make it all work out.
We'll keep our ears peeled for news of a release date, which by all counts should be landing pretty soon.
