GTX 780ti or Titan???

So I'm currently in the process of building myself a new pc and want some advice on what graphics card to go with, the current favourites are looking like either a evga gtx 780ti (3gb) or a titan (6gb) but I'm reading mixed reviews on which one is better to have.

My pc will be used primarily for gaming and will be plugged into a 1080p tv, I won't be using any high resolution monitors or multi-screens or anything to that effect, the resolutions will be at standard 1920x1080.

From what I've read all current games will run at max settings on the 780ti with no issue but I don't want to end up needing a more powerful card 6 months down the line as more advance games start to come out. I've also read that while the titan is more powerful it is better suited for graphical work as opposed to gaming.

Obviously there's a big price difference between the 2 cards, the 780's are around £550 and the titans are almost £1000, is it worth me buying the titan or would I be better with a 780ti or even 2 780ti's in SLI?

Your thoughts guys and gals?

You probably would have to give me the spec's of the PC.. and cards.. you can easy bottle neck most cards...

IMO SLI would blow the 6g one out the door. SLI the 6G would more likely bottle neck.. anyways.

I take it that the 3GB EVGA GTX 780Ti is Dual GPUs on one card??

No mention of it being a dual GPU, assuming its a single. Would end up costing a bit more than a titan if I got 2 but want to make sure I'm future proof for a while, this build is costing a fortune so want to get it done so I wont have to upgrade anything for a good couple of years

Go for the 780ti man it's actually faster for gaming and since you're not playing on anything over 1080p the six Gigs of video buffer would go to waste. Also 780ti is single gpu.

How will it get on with the next generation of games? I've read some current games (BF4 for example) are pushing the card when on max settings, I know I could get 2 cards but I've also read that SLI sometimes suffers from heat and lagging issues plus I only have a 750w power supply. I want to be able to run any game on max/ultra settings without any problems. Do you think 1 card will be enough?

Well everything that I've heard is at max settings one card is all you will need at 1080p 60fps but you could get two but the only thing you need to know is most of the games that support SLI are AAA or AA games so if you plan on playing indie games it's not really worth it.
