Just add them with any hex editor like you would any other piece of equipment. You can't access the DLC content yet without CheatEngine (PC only) but all the content is already in the game.

It's been a while since your post but if you look up the Dark Souls II mod discusion topic, there is a ton of info there. The inventory starts at 1E20 and goes on until you hit hex values starting with 3C (your gesture slots). Go to the first available line in your inventory and add in the DLC content but notice that the modifiers for your weapons and equipment are actually the line after the equipment.
i made a inventory using Jappi's tool. i couldnt save my database but it has 4 of all the items and 2 of some. all +10 that worked adding in :)

It's for the Xbox but later I can make one for the ps3. I might wait for more of the hex ids to be found. But only thing you have to do is convert the hex code to decimal code and go to the database tab after loading your save and click add new item. Place the decimal code you converted into the item id box and the rest is simply. Does take time but it's worth it. Some of the items didn't work. But majority did.
Thanks man
I made a version of save mule by dompthybomb for ps3 with the items of this tread
