Head's up to all PlayStation 3 owners, Sony has just announced that they will soon release a new firmware update for the PS3, bringing it to version 3.66.
So what's new with the latest update? Well, as expected, it's nothing big, except for the usual system stability improvements and stuff.
"A new PS3 system software update, v3.66, will be released soon," says SCEA's Eric Lempel, director of PlayStation Network operations, in a post over at the official PlayStation Blog. "With this minor update, system stability during use of PS3 format software and network services has been improved."
Earlier this month, Sony also updated the PS3 firmware, although it was only an "optional." It also includes stability improvements on some PS3 softwares and changes the XMB item SaveData Utility (minis) to [SaveData Utility(minis/PSP)].
