So, I'm working on a simple starter game and I am not too familiar with ActionScript and the book I have is only a beginners for gaming and doesn't mention this in the slightest. I know that in other languages (C#, Java, VB) you can specify the length of float number. I have scoured through flash mx's built in help and I cannot find anything. I am trying to set 2-3 decimal spots out for division (.67 instead of .6666666666666667) in my math game. If anyone here reads this and has exp with AS, please help me.
