I just did the xbl update this morning and now I can't get anything off my USB device that is updated since then. (ie. any new save(s) done after update can't get off the device. Profile as well has the same problem.)
I've tried USBXTAFGUI_v44, party buffulo new, and old versions, as well as modio.
This is what I get with an old save

Can some one please verify the same thing happens with them. I'm using a(n) 8GB Kingston USB 2.0 drive. This hasn't happened until after the last update from xbox live.

That looks like corrupted data to me.. Might wanna check the USB drive for errors.
I haven't had any problems like that with my USB disk. :/

So far i have not had any problems with my usb after the xbox live update, also im using a Micro Center 2gb USB 2.0 drive, most likely either your the usb drive or the data on the drive is corrupt somehow, how it happen to corrupt after the update i dont know, but i should also let you know that i did not have my usb plugged in when i did the update not sure if you had yours plug in McWxXx but maybe that is what corrupted the data, this is all just a guess on my part, hope you get it working

It's possible that the update might have been writing to the USB drive as well, corrupting the data in the process.
I'm going to make a back up of my USB drive and will put it in the XBOX and then apply the XBL update. Will post results here.

While there was definitely activity on the USB Drive - Nothing was corrupted during the update here. All my data is fine and I can access it properly using Modio.

First make a backup of your gamesaves + folders then format your usb stick.

they have not patched over the usb modding
i just modded my darksiders and borderlands and it worked fine it had to be corrupt data on your usb
