Metal Gear Solid 3DS Delayed into 2012

Despite neither Konami or Nintendo having confirmed a release date for Metal Gear Solid: Snake Eater 3D, we were given the nod to expect it this year when the official Q3 schedule flagged up the game for a 2011 launch. However, we may have to wait a little longer for Snake to sneak his way onto our portables.


While Konami has not made an official statement, the marketing director of the publisher's French branch has reportedly said that the 3DS port of the PS2 classic is now due out in Europe early next year. He is also quoted as confirming the puzzle-tastic 3DS adventure Doctor Lautrec and the Forgotten Knights for an October release.
