Adds new editor mode, new sharing options, PlayStation Move and PS3 steering wheels support, online gameplay improvements and more!

The folks at Evolution Studios has released a "larger-than-life update" for MotorStorm Apocalypse, bringing a slew of new contents and gameplay improvements to the high-octane racer. The latest patch, now available for download as soon as you fire up your disc, will include the following:

Design Your Own Game Modes
Evolution Studios will add a new Mode Editor that will allow you to create your own game modes within the MotorStorm template and then play them straight away with other players (online and offline). As Daimion Pinnock from SCEA explains, "the possibilities are vast: tweak the standard Race mode so that vehicle attacks are disabled... or set-up a five-round Eliminator mode, on mirrored tracks, for 15 Monster Trucks and 1 Buggy, with moon gravity, infinite boost and no brakes...or do something completely unexpected."

Share Your Customized Vehicle
Now you have the option to customize and share your own vehicle designs with your buddies via motorstorm.com. All you need to do is upload them from MotorStorm Apocalypse to your personal Profile area on motorstorm.com and other players can view them immediately. To download vehicles shared by other player, all you need to do is to browse the website, sign in with your PSN Online ID and download it. Once you fire up your disc, go to the Customization menu and the vehicle of your choosing will be there waiting for you.

Up Your Game With a PS3 Steering Wheel or PlayStation Move
The latest update now supports the PlayStation Move controllers and certain PS3 steering wheels. Supported steering wheels include the Logitech G25, Logitech G27, Logitech Driving Force GT and Logitech Driving Force Pro.

Further Improvements to Online Play
Based on community feedback, the update also includes additional improvements in online play such as; new racer ‘clan tags’, changes to gambling (bets are now won when a rival is disconnected or disqualified), and changes to lobby privacy (so that private rooms can only be joined by invitation).

Stay Up to Speed With MotorStorm Wherever You Are
The official website of the game has also been updated to include player profiles which show off player activity, stats, performance over the last 10 races and shared vehicle designs. The update also includes a mobile version of the site which so you won't be left behind with all the happenings from in and around the racing party at the end of the world.

This is a great addition to the once-delayed racer. It's not been a smooth ride for MotorStorm Apocalypse, as it was delayed several times delayed due to unfortunate circumstances.
