The weapon level is the two bits before the start of the four ammunition bits and it seems to be an encrypted number since changing it in the slightest has huge consequences for what the level changes to. also if you do the same thing as the tutorial i gave but with melee weapons then the four bits that make up quantity/ammo are just before the durability, it is the same number of bits away from the placeholders/weapon level as a firearms BF 80 00 00 hex value but will be something different like 41 32 7F 32 or whatever
