    Okay so I'm slowly figuring out the level and damage of weapons. I'll post my results as I get them for you guys to read here. Just so you know the two bytes that come before the magazine ammunition in a gun are the bytes I'm manipulating. (i.e. 54 A8 7F FF FF FF BF 80 00 00 )

    What I've determined so far:

    - The first unit of the first byte ( XX XX ) seems to control the damage of the weapon, 3 being the highest value so far before the damage starts to decline.
    - The last unit of the second byte ( XX XX ) seems to control the accuracy of the weapon, but more interestingly the value has an inherent effect on the text color of the weapon (rarity)
    - All the other properties of the weapon have an inherent effect on the value of the weapon.

    The reason I split up the results like that is because I'm changing different variables in each section. Now I'm sticking to changing just one variable at a time.


    EDIT I'm tired of doing this for now, I'll pick it up later if I need to. Hopefully this helps jappi, it definitely sheds some light on the weapon damage/level requirement.

    thanks to jappi im having a great time with this . got a revolver , magnum and a shotty with ammo maxed . my question is what pistols and auto rifles can i add ammo to? i have a regular pistol in my inventory and a feeble burst fire rifle . neither will show up as having the ability to max ammo on them . should i look for specific guns ? would really like a rifle with max ammo . thanks , just joined because of this great editor .

    Can you look through the saves and figure out what's causing them to freeze in the loading screen. It's happening to everyone I know and out of my friends I'm the only one who's modded.
