Okay I'm still pretty new at this have used other saves before on other games. For some reason I only see savedata.bin when I check the contents file. I see no gamesave00_eng is there a step I'm missing?

when u extract the save from ur hdd or mu or usb, the original save is gamesave00_eng, you just have to open it on con manager then extract the content which is savedata.bin... thats all. dont use modio, i do it with my friend save and after donr it show cant load the save. use con manager...

Have any of you guys found a way to hex edit the score on the mercenaries?
I know, your save is 100% but id rather do it with my own since i have multiple different save that are at different places so
I'd rather just keep my save and be able to edit my merc score cuz well..... mercs seems BS to, tho I like the mode and all but
still too hard for nothing...
