I hated that personally, although it was cool to see your character beef up it was just plain annoying after a while. It got to the point where every 10-15 minutes you had to eat and then go the gym or your guy would start losing mass and then eventually health. The territory wars were annoying too, once again your turf would get attacked every 10 minutes or so once you had acquired the bulk of it.
