Back to the Future too good to be for download only
Download's good, but not good enough for a game as good as Back to the Future. That's a whole lot of good right there, alright, that's why Telltale Games has announced that they're gunning for a retail release as well.

This was revealed by head of publishing James Lamorticelli, telling MCV that: "Telltale's strategy has always been to take our games to retail in as many markets that we can across the globe."
"Historically, we have released most of our brands at retail in varied territories and our intent is to continue to reach retail audiences with all of our future releases as well."

"Boxed product releases are like the 'end of season' DVDs that TV shows get, and customers are acclimated to buying at retail. Right now, they still haven't made mention when the retail release will arrive, but it is their plan to keep the gap between the digital and boxed releases close."
"Part of what we are trying to achieve is a shorter timeframe between when our season ends digitally and when the entire pack hits store shelves. We have recently been in discussions about testing new ways to reach our retail customers on multiple channels when our digital season is still in process."

Back to the Future: Episode One launched only last month, while the next one, Episode Two, should be out in February. And with this new development, it sure looks like Doc and Marty's time-travelling adventures are still far from being over.
