Nintendo of Japan has announced a release date for the forthcoming Fire Emblem: Kakuse. The game is a brand new entry into the Fire Emblem series but retains elements from previous games. Fire Emblem: Kakuse is due to be released April 19th in Japan.
Japanese news publication The Nikkei is also reporting that Fire Emblem 3D will be the first Nintendo 3DS title to received paid downloadable content.
Nintendo 3DS players will be able to use either prepaid cards or a credit card to make purchases. The Nikkei also reports that Nintendo is planning on including similar paid download content functionality in the Wii U which is due for release sometime after June 2012.
