Wii U Zelda art style will be different to Skyward Sword

The Legend of Zelda producer Eiji Anouma has revealed in the latest edition of Game Informer that the Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword art style and the storyline will most likely be a one-off and that we will be seeing something completely different for Zelda Wii U.

“With Wind Waker, the graphics were suited to handheld gaming. Also the game ended with Link embarking on a journey, so it left open the possibility of what comes after the game. With Skyward Sword, positioning it as the first Zelda game means everything else connects to it and comes after it. It becomes a little bit difficult to do something else within that world and certainly much more difficult to do something that comes before it.”

sweet i like the way skyward sword looks but i liked the graphics for Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess more, so im hoping they go in that direction

Wouldn't get your hopes up about seeing footage of this anytime soon, as far as I know they haven't even started on it yet. Nintendo have given themselves a 3 year deadline (from start of production) to get it done and released.

I,m still enjoying skyward sword , playing this game over and over again until 3 years has past lol

damn that's a long time, luckily i still have skyward sword and ocarina of time 3D to past the time XD

I,m still enjoying skyward sword , playing this game over and over again until 3 years has past lol

I still haven't managed to play it yet, I picked up a pre-owned Wii, got a copy of Skyward Sword and then....... My cousins kid nicked it off me to play some crappy kids game or other because his Wii is broken.


Combine that with my 360 dying again a couple of days ago and I'm left with nothing :-(


Might see about getting my grubby little mits on a couple more arcade trophies on here instead....

Best to get your copy of zelda skyward sword back soon and hope the game disc isn,t scratch,t , you know how kids handle game disc,s these days .
