How GIF images should be. In my opinion.

I didn't know if I should have posted this in the "Graphics" section but everything posted there was stuff people have created.
The stuff I am posting well...isn't my work. (Don't worry it's a link and safe)

But yeah here is two different websites that show some pretty BA animated GIF's. Have you guys done this?
I have always wanted to try but when it comes to graphics. I suck. I may be a hobby photographer but when it comes to Photoshop or lightroom.
Well....let's just say I'll stick to using advanced lighting and natural light photography. Even though sometimes it's really hard when you take a picture and something is in the foreground that you could easily take out in PS but you suck.

I recorded the video frames with divx player and made a gif with gif movie gear.

I made this sig for halo 2 clan-SH.

I particuarly like the converted movie.
I've been looking for something to substitute swf files for but i never found a good way to convert flvs to high quality gif.
It would make my little video in the editor obessesion so much cleaner and not dependent on libraries i dont really want to include.

That's some nice skill you've got there. I remember trying to test the waters out with 3Ds Max and Maya. But if I was actually good with drawing and animation. I would have probably stayed in Art school. (Was going for Game Art & Design)
I really like the movie and halo 2 animations one.

Man! Just thinking about H1 & h2 really bring back awesome memories and good times. Too bad many of the people i've played with moved on. <---- big kid 4ever. :P
