The Wii U and 3DS downloads and promotions coming this Thursday
We've been waiting a fair old while, but this week sees the start of the Wii U Virtual Console rollout for choice cuts from the Game Boy Advance library. We're starting well - all three of today's games are in our list of the Top 10 Best Game Boy Advance games. Enjoy!
Advance Wars (Wii U Virtual Console: Nintendo, £6.29) is Intelligent Systems' all-smiling, country-defiling war simulation, which somehow turns an incredibly serious subject into the happiest strategy game we've played.

Metroid Fusion (Wii U Virtual Console: Nintendo, £6.29) takes Samus, has her infected with a alien parasite, removes most of her Varia Suit, and tells her to just get on with saving the cosmos as usual. Essentially, it's the Spider-Man 3 of Metroid games. Except so much better than I've just made it sound.

Mario & Luigi Superstar Saga (Wii U Virtual Console: Nintendo, £6.29) part-RPG, part-puzzler and part-reflex test, the first of AlphaDream's crazed take on the Mario universe has them teaming up with Bowser, chatting with living beans and smacking each other with hammers like a more surreal Laurel & Hardy.

Super Monkey Ball 3D (3DS: Sega, £14.99) was never the best entry in Sega's fairly creepy primate cruelty series, but with the right price cut they could get back on the ball here.

Bubble Pop World (3DS: Cypronia, £4.49) takes the saturated Match-3 genre and pairs it with the, er, underrepresented Augmented Reality game genre to make a game that'll have you injuring yourself on furniture in no time.
Alongside the new releases, the generous bunch at Two Tribes have permanently discounted Toki Tori, EDGE and RUSH, all of which are now £1.79.
